Our story
A boil house built for hands.
OH CRAB! is a Louisiana-style seafood boil opening in Oakland in 2026, in a room that was already dark, warm and a little loud. The boil suited it.
The format is the point
Seafood arrives in a bag, sauce goes on everything, and forks stay in the drawer. Gloves and a bib come with the table because the food is meant to be handled, not managed.
The name is the sound a table makes when the bag lands. The claw in the logo is the only punctuation we need.
Meet MUDBUG
Why is a crawfish the mascot of a place called OH CRAB!? Because everything goes in the same pot. Crab, crawfish, shrimp, corn, potato, sausage. The pot doesn't discriminate, and neither does the menu.
MUDBUG is the Louisiana nickname for a crawfish. He wears a bib, like every guest does.
Nobody remembers a clean table.
What we stand for
Louisiana gave us the method. Oakland gives us the room.
